Introducing Auto Expanding Layers – GIMP 2.99.18 Update

GIMP 2.99.18 now has “auto-expanding layers,” a highly useful Paint tool feature that expands your layer automatically as you paint outside the layer boundary. Digital painters will love this feature as it keeps your paint strokes from being chopped off while you paint. Auto-expanding layers is one of many exciting new features that rolled out with GIMP 2.99.18, the latest development release version and last version prior to GIMP 3.0 release candidates.

GIMP is a free photo editor most similar to Photoshop.
