These techniques utilize great free photo editing and manipulation software to brighten up your dark images while losing minimum quality and creating minimal grain. I also show you how to get rid of camera artifacts (such as dead pixels) using the GEGL Noise Reduction filter and the Symmetric Nearest Neighbor filter.
