How to Create a Glass Sphere Effect in GIMP (Lensball)

In this GIMP tutorial, I show you how to create a 3D glass sphere using all built-in tools found in this free photo editor. You’ll learn how to use the “Spherize” filter and the “Sphere Generator” to draw and shade a 3D sphere. The final result looks like a floating crystal ball or lensball, which is often seen in photography. This is a very simple photo manipulation tutorial for beginners!
