in this photoshop tutorial we will see how to create popular 3D photos that we see at facebook.
Originally you need portrait mode pictures to create this photos but now with this tutorial you will learn how to apply it to any photo.
Mainly its all about cutting out your photo properly to keep the 3D effect neat and clean. After that we will create depth maps for the given photo and thats it.
Then all you have to do is save pictures in photoshop and upload them to facebook and facebook will automatically apply 3d effect to it 🙂
Things to keep in mind
-Name your files properly and make sure to save them as png. It won’t work with jpgs.
-use gradients for your backgrounds instead of a solid color. Otherwise it will look flat and might get weird patches on the photo.
